This caused a number of bad things to happen including losing power, waterpressure, hot water, AC and toilets not working, raw sewage spilled everywhere, passengersmoving their beds to the deck to get a breeze at night, and a limited amount of food that they hadto wait in line forever to get. They were compensated with $500 in monetary compensation,refund of cruise cost and travel expenses, credit toward next cruise/next cruise free, free photoand bar tabs covered, and free bathrobes. Carnival posted public relation statements, but youwould have to go to their FAQs section to find updates. The kind of immediate response aboutthe condition of the ship should be “We were able to contain the fire into not spreading moreacross the ship, everyone by the fire is safe.
