An industrial union is a trade union that combines all workers (both skilled and unskilled)
employed in a certain industry. This gives workers in one industry or in all industries more
leverage in bargaining and in strike situations
2.) Collective bargaining has its advantages and disadvantages:
1 advantage = it provides a greater degree of predictability for employers in certain areas such
as bonuses, wages and working hours therefore employers can plan much better
1 disadvantage = it is prone to inequality, critics say that it can lead to employers or employees
receiving less of what they deserve if representation is weak. There’s chances that a business
would lose a quite large amount of money from over-compensation or excessive benefits.
