Chapter Thirteen And so the dawn came upon the new age The sun rise, and so set And nothing had changed, not one single thing, And still the wondering soul patrolled the night, looking for the lost piece. On the first day the soul found the light The light to lead the way, to a new day. But darkness overcame the light And day turned to darkness, And so the sun set. On the second day, he found the friends, Those who he had once done battle with, side by side, But they had abanded him in the night, And they did not recognize him So the soul continued on On the third day, the soul found innocence, Only to have it taken away by friends drunk with power Now defeated, and without innocence, The Soul continued on

On the fourth day, the soul found joy, The joy was satisfying, for a while Until the joy ran out And the soul was forced to move on On the fifth day, the soul found family Something to cling to, to hold to But the family fell apart because of the thirteenth day And the soul was forced to move on

Unformatted text preview: On the sixth day, the soul found music One comfort of the world, to last all eternity, But on the seventh day, the soul found silence, And the music was gone And the soul moved on On the eight day, the soul found love Something to hold him, to keep him company Something to finally help him through life But the love died, and a piece of the soul was left behind, But the soul moved on On the ninth day, the soul found his dream Everything he wanted to come true…. There, finally in his grasp… He woke up And the soul moved on On the tenth day, the soul found consciousness And realized what he was searching for… But he continued to move on On the eleventh day, the soul found the way to his goal He had come all this way, looking for an answer that was right in front of him the entire time… On the twelfth day, the soul found death The true purpose to everything he had gone through And on the thirteenth day, the soul found...
