Core Portfolio By Nathan Sullivan In my CORE class I have done more writing in a semester than I have in the last two years of high school. This has had a mixed effect on me during this semester; one is that I have plenty of opportunity to improve my writing techniques. The other is that I can’t wait to get a way from my word documents. However CORE is still one of my all time favorite classes. In a freshmen will get to do something that must students dream of in class, they get to talk. They talk about things that affect them and matter to them and this is one of my favorite aspects of this class, is that our opinions now have someone that wants to hear them. This is something that not all students get to have often if ever. The fact that we can walk into a room and know that we will be heard is truly a great feeling. Along with this aspect, the fact that we are always writing helps us to learn how handle stress and become better writers. Also with these papers we have a chance to voice how we
