Core 5 th hour: The Israeli, Palestinian conflict By Nathan Sullivan For my fifth hour for core, I had decided to go to see a video that covered the ongoing Israeli, Palestinian conflict. The roughly forty minute long clip was only a sample of the video that was to come. Within this clip the viewer is witness the Israeli government pushing out Palestinian families from their homes. The director of the film was at this showing to inform us on this situation. He had talked about how this was the longest on going conflict in modern times. He had tolled us that this issue had begun in the 1940’s after World War Two, when Jews that had survived the holocaust in Germany went to were their homes had been only to find ruble. This lost Jew’s then tried to find a new place to live but many counties were not allowing many Jews to move on to their land. It was because of this that the UN gave the Jewish people land in the country of Palestine. However the amount of land that they were given was not enough for the Jews so they began to destroy the homes of Palestinians that lived
