Dead Man Walking By Nathan Sullivan This is a film that will challenge many of a persons emotions. The film shows the last few weeks before a man is put to death. The viewer is pulled into his story and sees first hand the way that he lies about what he did, blames others, and finally admits to what he did. He finally comes to this state with the help of a local nun. This all comes down to the dramatic death of a man that seemed to be scared to say he was sorry. In the first few minutes of the film the viewer hears of the crimes that the man Matt has done. However even with these things the nun sister Helen still goes to talk to him and try to get him off of death row. The way that sister Helen talks to this dangerous and try’s to help and comfort him. The amount of love that she has for this man that she has never meet or even heard of is truly amazing. The way that she shows this troubled man so much unconditional love is something that all Christians should try to do. However this is not a thing that can be done easily.
