ENG Topic 1 Before coming to college I was told many different things about college life. Many things like college is much harder than high school, there are parties all the time, teachers in college are really strict, you will meet tons of new people, and studying will become my life. At first I was a bit nervous, thinking about all the things that could go wrong, how I might now make it because of how difficult college is; that I will not pass a class because none of the teachers will like me. All these things running through my head, making me rethink about attending college. I have many expectations of college and hope that many of them do not come true. I expect college to be difficult; I do not doubt the fact. College is considered higher education for a reason; it is going to challenge me to do the best that I can. In fact I want college to be hard; so that I can see how much I can really achieve. I do not want it to be so hard that I cannot make it but I do want to be challenged. If it was easy everyone would be going to college, just being here is an achievement because I know that many people do not have the opportunity or ability to make it to and through college. Already I have achieved much more than many other
