Macbeth had a goal to be king and he was willing to do what he had to reach his goal. His wife, Lady Macbeth, also wanted to be royalty and convinced Macbeth to do whatever was needed to become royalty. What were they thinking when they decided to kill for the throne.The thought of doing whatever it takes to become royalty did not at first sit well with Macbeth. However, Lady Macbeth was more than willing to do what was necessary. Macbeth seemed really hesitant to kill Duncan seeing has he has been loyal to the king and just finished a battle fighting for him. Lady Macbeth is really scheming of ways to get to the throne and she comes up with the idea to kill Duncan, but Macbeth does not want to kill him, at first. Lady Macbeth, originally, is the one that is suppose to kill Duncan....
