1 Date: September 3, 2015 ECE 416 Fall 2015 HOMEWORK #1 Pavement Survey Due September 14, 2015 The following pavements are located close by. Please survey visually each of these pavements from the curb. Please watch out for traffic when you survey ( Safety is our 1 st priority ). (1) Identify the types of distress manifest by each pavement and rank the level of severity associated with it as: Low, Medium, or High. (2) List the factors (i.e. design, construction, or climatic related) that you feel should be considered in determining the cause of the distress. (3) List the specific possible causes of the major distresses and rank them in order of priority. Think carefully what factors should be considered in making this ranking. Location of Pavements
