Unformatted text preview: 2-15-06 Public Opinion Poll I am researching what Computer Processing Unit most prefer in their computers. Do you prefer AMD, Intel or do you know at all. My universe consisted of ten people that know something about computers and ten people that most likely do not know much about computers. I am researching this topic to find out how many people actually know something about a fast growing technology used everyday to perform all sorts of tasks. My prediction is that the persons that know about computers would choose AMD because of the performance and quality of their product. Then for those that do not know much about computers I expected that they either choose Intel based on the popularity from many Dell commercials or choose "I don't know" because they have no idea what the question is asking. I interviewed twenty persons for this poll. I interview both men and women and both persons that know more than the common person would know about computers and the average person. My results corresponded with my prediction. Those that know about computers picked the AMD Computer Processing Unit and those that do not have the knowledge of computers as the others that I interviewed chose mostly "I don't know" and a couple chose Intel. My statistics rang true with my prediction. All of those that know more than the average person about computers picked AMD. For those that are the average person they either picked Intel because they recognized the name from commercials or other advertisement or picked the "I don't know" option because they did not even know what either of them is. In my opinion I would pick the AMD processor because it is much better than Intel. For what you might pay for Intel's Pentium 4 you can usually find equal or better from AMD cheaper and will be better quality. ...
