In remote sensing, weare gathering information about these features from the air.Geographic Information Systems (GIS):is a system that allows users to store, manipulate,analyze and display geographic information. A GIS can also refer to the people and organizationsthat design the program and apply it to issues as diverse as natural-resource management,regional planning and natural hazards analysis.
