Chris Keroack 11/25/05 Philosophy 100 Nietzsche: The uncommon follower Friedrich Nietzsche went about philosophy in a different manner than the rest of the philosophers in the earlier times. He considered himself a new-age philosopher. He questioned many things that other philosophers did not. One of his main points that he remained true to was the fact that not every person was created equal. He felt that there definitely were better people. He felt that there were definitely class divisions and that are in a higher class than the others. He labeled himself and so called “new philosophers” as being better than others. He claimed that the commoners were nothing more than a mere animalistic herd. He claims that to be common or to be like everyone else stinks. Nietzsche says that you are not doing anything important with your life if you are just striving to be like everybody else. In this way he also criticizes religion, for it does not letting a person think for them selves and that you are only pleasing others, giving away your rights to free will.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
