Yatzary Sanchez English 111 The New York Times; 200,000 March for civil rights in orderly Washington rally The rhetorical situation is that this newspaper wanted demonstrate how Martin Luther King’s speech was to emphasize that people are created equal. The purpose of this newspaper was to inform the people about the great speech Dr. King had done and how he showed that people have as many freedom as everyone does. It proves how racism should be stopped because no race is better than another one. The audience can vary, to any person who is seeking for a change, anyone that wants to know what was going on at that time, or to someone that knows racism is not the answer. The most important appeals would be pathos and ethos.
