Learning Objectives Covered In This Unit LO1: Given two bags of pictures, students will be able to independently sort the pictures into goods/services and producers/ consumers with 90% accuracy. LO2: By Wednesday, March 18th , students will be able to create an example-marketing plan to use in the creation of their “Market Day” booth. Students will be able to determine their product (good or service), devise a plan for creating the product, determine the price of the product, and set a sales goal using a provided rubric with 80% accuracy. LO3: By the end of the week, pairs of students will create an actual booth in order to sell items at the class “Market Day” event. Students will use their previously created market day plan to incorporate all of the necessary elements of a market booth (design, items sold, price, inventory, etc.). The teacher will use a provided rubric and the student’s market day plans to evaluate student’s booths. Students must score an 80% on the market day rubric to achieve mastery of this skill.
