The leadership organizational problem that I have
experienced within the workplace are the two managers and
director of the organization that provide different directions on
how employees should conduct their work. The decision-making
model that I will apply to the organizational problem that I have
examined is Communicating Change. The leadership of this
current organization has a major communication problem that
begins with upper management. The problem is that one manager
utilizes rescue drivers to assist drivers who are falling behind
schedule during shift. The other manager does not use rescue
drivers and forces drivers to complete the delivery route, regardless
of what time the deliveries are complete. The director allows both
managers to make the decisions based on need. Recently, the use
of rescue drivers changed without notice. The managers can
choose to use rescue drivers, but only after the daily route drivers
have completed deliveries first. The problem is the route drivers
are picking up the slack for slow delivery drivers and taking on
more of the load, this depletes morale. Delivery drivers are

exhausted after delivering the route chosen for them on that day.
