Final Exam ReviewDear students:1. The comprehensive final exam is 100 multiple choice questions worth 3 points each. Please read each question carefully on the exam. Many students get low test scores because they don’t read the questions.2. The exam covers chapters 1-7; 9; 11 – 18. A lot of the material covered in chapters 11-18 should be very similar to information presented in your previous marketing courses. For example, whether you’re doing domestic or international marketing, the components of the communications model does not change. While the type of sales promotion implemented may vary by market, these are always used to increase sales. (You could argue this and saythe objective of the sales promotion is get obtain shelf space in the retail store but ultimately the goal is to increasesales). Concepts such as strategic planning, corporate planning, etc… in Chapter 12 are needed whether you’re doing domestic or international business. I’m certain you get the idea.3. Your exam will be administered via Blackboard. All questions will appear at once. This gives you the ability to skipquestions as well as go back-and-forth to review questions and your answers. No electronic devices, books, notes or help from your peer are permitted.4. Per UHD policy, each student is given up to 2.5 hours to complete final exams.5. During the final exam, you are not permitted to leave and re-enter the testing center for any reason. Your exam ends when you exit the testing center or run out of time.6. Please register for your final exam if you have not done this.7. For the final exam, please focus on the major terms and concepts as well as the diagrams in the book. Review your previous exams.8. You do not need to know a region's or country’s growth rate, literacy rates, economic growth patterns, the evolution of government, etc… However, you should know terms such as nationalism, ethnocentrism, p-time, m-time, etc… And since you live in the U.S., it might be nice for you to know something about the American culture – that we’re more individualistic, time sensitive, work at a faster tempo, are motivated by money (or group pressure),etc… than other countries.9.
