Yelena Walsh Email : [email protected] Telephone : 617-872-3122 Office : 73 Tremont Street # 7067 Office Hours : Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm by appointments Course Description Theory, practice and problems of risk-bearing in business and personal pursuits including life, property and casualty insurance and dealing with contract analysis and investments as well as corporate risk management. Prerequisites : None Credit Hours 3 : Students must spend an average of 9 hours per week inside and outside of class for 15 weeks. Course Goals & Learning Objectives : Upon successful completion of this course, students will know/understand: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: How the student will be assessed on these learning outcomes Provide both a theoretical and practical foundation for understanding Insurance and its handling of risk.
