Jessica Villarruel Elise Lonich 9 November 2010 A Year of Turmoil The first photo I chose was the one where military members of the Chicago police department march in formation down a street in front of a Hilton Hotel. The picture is oblique. It’s as if you’re on the outside looking in, not able to participate in what is going on in the photo. The men are pretty uniform in the center of the street of Chicago. People seem to be looking at them as if they’re just curious about what is going on. They don’t seem too concerned with the dozens of policemen walking the streets. The police men are walking in front of a welcome sign. They don’t seem angry. However, because there are so many of them, they look intimidating and authoritative, not very welcoming. A lot of the people standing outside of the Hilton Hotel are wearing business suits. These people don’t seem too concerned with the giant mob of policemen

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
