1-2. Discuss the main points of Kant's moral philosophy, including his concept of the good will, the meaning of the two versions of the categorical imperative, the meaning of duty. Immanuel Kant argued that moral requirements are based on a standard of rationality he called the Categorical Imperative. Which in terms meant that it is supposed to provide a way for us to evaluate moral actions and to make moral judgments from them. In terms of duty it is the necessity of acting from respect for the law. Kant’s idea of good will is that a person makes decisions that are morally correct to them and will help guide their behavior in their life and build oneself. Also present in Kant’s philosophy is motivation, which in terms of it is to have motivation to become a better person and follow the laws that are set. Also it’s your duty to follow certain things in life and respect the laws, having motivation to keep a better life is what humans are bound to do in their lives.
