Laurent King 20 February, 2008 History 140 Wednesday Industrialization Document Questions 1. How are the workers in the German factory treated? Pick three examples to illustrate. The workers in the German factory are treated very poorly as they are forced to work under poor working conditions and terms and are denied basic human rights and freedoms in the workplace. For instance they are prohibited from having conversations with other workers. Although the factory may be trying to ensure that the workers are being productive it is inhumane and very unreasonable to deny them the right to speak with their colleagues as they wish. Also forcing them to be submissive and obedient without any questioning or say is also unfair because it deprives workers of the freedom or right to have a say in the matters of the company or to defend themselves as individuals. Entitling officials to search the possessions of women and children is another example of an inhumane and inconsiderate condition in German factories as it deprives
