Philosophy means love for wisdom. However, it is important to note that philosophycomprises of three aspects. It is thought of as an activity, a set of attitudes, as well as a bodyof content. The activity portion refers to observing and taking note of what philosophers do.The focal points of philosophical endeavors include examining, synthesizing, analyzing, speculating, prescribing and evaluating. The first step of the philosophical process isexamining where philosophers must examine the evidence before thought actually takesplace. Analyzing in philosophy concentrates on human language and how we use it hoping toclarify our comprehension of issues and possible solutions. The synthesizing role of thephilosopher lies on the desire of humanity and need to possess a comprehensive yetconsistent perspective of life which provides a basis upon which it may unify thoughts, baseits aspirations, and interpret its experiences.
