Skipping breakfast has been proven to negatively affect memory and learning, not to mention physical well-being.-From these statistics, we can see that eating is important and eating healthily depends on good food choices and the amount of food consumed.-Health Touch © states that adolescents need per day: 6-11 servings of breads, cereal, rice and pasta; 3-5 servings of vegetables; 2-4 servings of fruit; 3 servings of milk, yogurt, and cheese; and 2-3 servings of meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts.-Health Touch © also warns against children eating too much fast food or other unhealthy foods that are high in fat and sugar such as hamburgers, French fries, pizza, potato chips, candy and soda.-By taking these statistics and recommendations to heart and by also ensuring exercise in your child’s routine, we can hope for healthier and happier adolescents....
