Spanish III, Quiz 01-27-06 1. The direct and indirect object pronouns precede a conjugated verb in Spnaish. Ell me lo dice. - Ella me lo dijo. Ella se lo dirá. Ella se lo ha dicho. 2. However, when a direct of indirect object pronoun is used with an infinitive, -ar, -er, -ir, or a gerund, -ando, -iendo, the pronoun or pronouns may either be attached to the infinitive or gerund, or they may precede the auxiliary verb that accompanies the infinitive or gerund. Infinitive Ella me lo quiere decir. Ella quiere decírmelo. Gerund Ella me lo estaba diciendo. Ella estaba deceíndomelo. **Note that when two pronouns are attached to the infinitive, the infinitive carries a written accent mark to maintain the same stress. A gerund carries a written accent if either one of two pronouns is attached. Verse A lo suyo vino, y los suyos no lo recibieron. ~Juan Uno: Once~ To His own He came, but his own did not receive Him. ~John 1:11~ ¡éáñí
