Final Individual Report1.Self-reflection of your individual role and skill development through this exercise.a.Knowledge you receivedb.Application of theoretical knowledge in simulation exercises and your ability toexpand and apply it to your next workplace (please provide a specific example)c.Teamwork skillsThis virtual HR director role through the HR management simulation site provided plenty usefulpractical experiences for me. Accordingly, this form of training is a working representation ofreality. Thereby, this type of learning environment was helpful for trainees to develop managerialand interpersonal skills. For example, as a real organization, the simulation exercises requiredall team members to solve problems, make decision, and interact with each other as a realstakeholder. We have learned how organizations operate and compete with each other in thesame industry. Moreover, acquiring important managerial and business skills have been veryproductive and fruitful. For instance, during this team work we have learned how to resolve ourconflicts without a negative impact on our decision making. One of our major issues which weshould struggle with that, was high turnover rate and grievances rate. Our team put its efforts tosolve these problems by harnessing our previous HR knowledge including the implementationof training programs, increasing wages at all levels aligned with the average industrial wages, and promoting qualified employees. Receiving an immediate feedback after our weeklydecisions was very useful to understand the effectiveness of our decisions on breeding moralityand engagement among employees, and decreasing the turnover and grievances rate leadingto a higher productivity. On the positive side, simulation exercises are an excellent way to addsome realism to a training program along with a psychological fidelity.1
