Case Study Assignment
Prepare a report for the CEO of AcuScan about the situation described in the GEN 480 Critical Thinking
Case Study. Your report should include the following two parts:
Respond to the specific questions on the worksheet that follows (100 points possible).
Write an executive summary for the CEO of AcuScan. (100 points possible).
Use the case materials to complete this assignment.
Describe all assumptions seen in any of documents provided in the case study.

Kelly made the assumption that Pat had no prior knowledge about quality control.
She also assumed that Pat’s prior experience in the cereal business meant that he
had no experience related to technology. Due to the recent lay-offs at AcuScan,
Kelly assumed that new product development would not be possible because the
company would be too understaffed. These lay-offs also lead Kelly to the
