Bentley, Human Resource Manager DATE: October 24, 2015 SUBJECT: Strategies to Reduce Expatriate Turnover Expatriate turnover indicates loss of opportunities, wastage of recruitment, and training costs of the company. This will not only decline the morale of the current employees, but also sets wrong examples to the current expatriates who are working for the company. There are various reasons for the expatriate turnover, such as a lack of international work experience and difficulties in adjustment in a foreign land. Below are two strategies that are suggested for reducing the expatriate turnover of the company. The Rotational Program is one of the strategies that the company should follow in order to reduce the expatriate turnover. The Rotational Program will allow the rotation of staff monthly to different parts of the company. The main purpose of the Rotational Program is to cross train the
