Discuss a time when you have worked on a project with a team, at an organization, with someone
from a different culture, or with anyone who opposed your point of view. How did you manage
the differences?
I am not sure where everyone in the class attended school, but I attend school in Texas. You may
or may not know but Texas is huge on dance teams, so much that dance has its own class. I grew
up in Ohio but moved to Texas in sixth grade so this was all very new to me. Throughout my life,
(sixth grade and up) I have always remained a member of my school's dance team. According to
Saylordotorg (2021), “Culture consists of the shared beliefs, values, and assumptions of a group
of people who learn from one another and teach to others that their behaviors, attitudes, and
perspectives are the correct ways to think, act, and feel.” Each year, the dance team was always
filled with people from different cultures. There were not only members of the team from
different cultures, but there were plenty of times members didn’t view things the same. Once I
got to high school, in order to be on the dance team you had to tryout. At tryouts, my ninth grade
