Graded work missed because of an unexcused absence cannot be made up or turned in early. However, each student will have the opportunity to earn “extra credit” for 2 activities designated by the professor; these may be used as substitutions for assignments missed due to personal reasons. The professor is only responsible for the receipt of homework turned in during class. DO NOT E-MAIL HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS. Laboratory/peer learning requirement: Each student will attend a one-hour peer learning session per week. The laboratory requirement will be fulfilled by grammar exercises assigned from the Verbos and Tutor Espafiol computer prografins. These may be completed in the foreign language computer laboratory in MC 304 or accessed from any net—worked dorm computer. Academic responsibility: When enrolled, a student accepts the responsibility for his/her achievement in the course and must do all work independently. This includes homework, computer exercises, compositions, quizzes, etc. Otherwise, no credit will be granted for the work in question.
