Jince Jacob Sociology Reading Assignment #3 We begin this week off by reading from Berberoglu, about the socialists Cooley and Mead on the effects of human nature and self due to a person’s society, which was never really something I considered and after hearing what they have to say on it I find it to be something I can relate to quite well. The second half of this week was spent in the Seinology book and it expressed the etiquette of the workplace and connected not only to Seinfeld but also made connections to Karl Marx and Claude-Henri Saint –Simon, who were sociologists with views on utopias, and were connected to globalization in the book. As I stated before I was never found pondering how much one’s society affects their behavioral make up, I knew that it would play a role to a degree but after reading the details and examples in the book I began to see more to the whole idea. The first point that stuck out to me was the term of society which is merely an idea within the minds of people
