2SCHOOL OF BUSINESS | POLITEKNIK BRUNEIASSESSMENT OBJECTIVES1.To enhance students’ analytical skills and allow them to apply the concepts in this module to a real-world situation.2.To critically identify and analyse the staffing strategies of the chosen organisation.3.To conduct job analysis using suitable information-gathering techniques.INSTRUCTIONSThere are two (2) components for the assignment: Group Report and Peer Assessment.Part 1: Group Report (15%)Students will work together in a group of four to prepare a report aimed at aligning the staffing systemfor a key position in an organisation of your choice with the organisation’s business strategy. Your teamwill select an organisation which you have some interest or knowledge and about which you can acquireadditional information. Your team will analyse how effectively the target organisation is staffing a keyposition and make recommendations for improvement.
