If an individual has an insistent depressive disorder, they mayfind it difficult to be optimistic on significant occasions, even requiring them to be happy. Mostpeople who associate with them can define them as having theycanbe described having adarknature, continually complaining, orunable to enjoy. While thepersistent depressive disordercannot be compared to major depression, an individual’s present depressive mood can be mild,moderate, or severe.Due totheprolongednature of dysthymia, coping withthe depressionsymptoms is often difficult. Still, a combination of psychotherapy and medication can be veryeffective in curbing the condition.
