ABSTRACTThis present study is a qualitative research of the effect of onlineacademic pressure and stress to the academic performance of MOGCHSGrade 10 STEM students.The aim of this research is to betterunderstand and determine the effects of today's online academicenvironment to the respondents. To identify the major causes of onlineacademic stress and pressure, as well as examine the attitude andpractice of the students towards online learning.The study's findingswould provide a more comprehensive understanding to recognize barriersand concerns related to the students’ academic performance andrecommend constructive ways to improve the academic performances ofthe said students. Teachers, students and parents will benefit from theresults of this study since academic pressure and stress from this onlineacademic learning have various effects on the learners, particularly whenit comes to determining their academic performance.The research study has been assessed and put into considerationby the terms of the dominant pandemic navigating all across the countryand the area of focus. The said project was structurized in the derivedresearch study form as well as the proper criterion and guidelines thathas connectivity to the format of the standard research papercomposition presented and instructed by the mandated subject advisory.It follows a précised sleek flow of the articulate chapters that views theconceptualized ideas and outcomes that the researchers devised byii
executing a quality investigation and observation with the use ofsystematic data and qualitative descriptive surveys that the researchsubject has partook. Furthermore, one of the fundamental goals of thequalitative research study is to determine the key sources of onlineacademic stress and pressure that affect the academic performance ofGrade 10 STEM Students of MOGCHS and suggest positive approachesto improve the academic performances of the said students.iii
