Jennifer Chase                                                                 Summer Session Ethics                                                                                     Extra Credit Euthyphro is a man that believes in justice and trust but only has a broad view on  what piety actually is; in Euthyphro, Euthyphro explains to Socrates the aspects of his  accusations about his father's murder and his reasoning for accusing his father is that  he knows the difference between piety and impiety. Socrates being the philosophical  bully that he is asks Euthyphro what exactly is piety to really make sure Euthyphro  knows his differences. The Euthyphro question is as stated "Is an action wrong because God forbids it  or does God forbid it because it is wrong?" This question brings up many arguments of
