Nicholas Seabury His 132 Early overseas trade was dangerous and almost an unexplored part of life in the  early 1400's. With two large thriving nations on the rise things were about to change.  These two nations were Europe and China, they were very much opposites in moral  beliefs and political organization. They were both also growing expanding nations  looking towards the ocean. Europe was a nation with deep rooted inner turmoil and many rivaling provincial  states. Also their economic insecurity at the time was also very unstable. They were a  nation that was ready to expand no matter the problems going on at home. Europe  slowly outreached to the resources of other nations but the life of a merchant or an  overseas explored was risky and expensive. The pay off was supposed five times of
