Civil Action No. ______________________ FRANK BROWN and TAMMY WAMMY and Hot Coffee, INC., a Maryland corporation, , Defendants. COMPLAINT 1. Plaintiff, Will Smiths, is a resident of Mount Airy, Frederick County, Maryland. 2. Defendant, Frank Brown, is a resident of Mount Airy, Frederick County, Maryland. Also employee at Hot Coffee, Inc. 3. Defendant, Tammy Wammy, is a resident of Mount Airy, Frederick County, Maryand. 4. Hot Coffee, Inc. (“Coffee”) is a Maryland company having its principle place of business located in Mount Airy, Frederick County, Maryland. 5. Wammy owned the shop visited by plaintiff, Smiths. 6. On or about October 15, 2015, plaintiff, Smiths, was ordering coffee at the shop in Frederick County, Maryland. 7. At the time and place aforesaid, defendant, Brown, was operating a 1997 Hot Super express espresso machine owned by Wammy when defendant Brown negligently operated said espresso machine in such a manner as to cause it the coffee to scold the body of plaintiff Smiths.
