Bottling Company Case Study 2 As manager of a major Bottling Company, I have been receiving numerous complaints from loyal customers, stating that the brand of bottled sodas produced within our company is actually less than the advertised sixteen (16) ounces of product. These complaints have caused my boss to become concerned with the product; therefore, he would like me to conduct an investigation. To begin my investigation, I will have my employees to pull 30 bottles at random from all the shifts at the bottling plant and measure the amount in each bottle. I figured by pulling random bottles from all shifts, that I could possibly eliminate human error. Continuing with the investigation, I weigh the sample sizes of all 30 bottles. The weight ranges between 14 oz. and 16.1 oz., which lets us know that that there is definitely a problem m with our bottling consistency.
