Office Hours Spring 2007 My office hours during the exam week are Monday 3:30-5:00 and Tuesday 11:00-12:00. Topics covered by Exam The first midterm exam will cover sections I "Introduction" and II "Macroeconomic Goals" of the course. You are responsible for all the required reading listed in the syllabus: chapters 1-6 of the Frank and Bernanke text AND handouts 1a-1d and 2a-2d. Format of Exam The midterm exam #1 will consist of two parts. The first part will be 15 multiply choice questions. These questions will be drawn from both sections I and II of the course. The second part will be one problem on the production possibilities curve and on supply and demand. The second section of the exam will be similar in design, but not necessarily in content, to problem sets #1 and #2. Past Exams The midterm exam #1 from Spring 2006 is posted at Beachboard under Past Exams. In addition, I have posted some additional multiple choice questions at Beachboard under Past Exams. (4) Answer the practice exam questions in a simulated exam session. (5) Check your answers on the problem sets and practice exams with the keys. ...
