Topics include estimating cash flows and required rates of return, discounted cash flow valuations, capital budgeting, the use of debt and equity financing, and short-term financial planning. This is a rigorous course with a strong focus on financial problem-solving. Class lecture, supplemented by textbook background reading and ungraded homework problems, provides the basis for the course instruction. The Undergraduate Program of the W.P.
