As our world (especially the cities) population grows, we need more housing. Some advocate renovation of urban areas into luxury condos, others claim that tearing down areas with urban blight (boarded up buildings or poorly maintained rental properties) and redeveloping them (gentrification) is the way to go, but much of the increased housing is being built out beyond the suburbs.
