Navigating the Loud Cloud and Time ManagementPart 1The main tabs in the loud cloud from left to right are, home, calendar, tasks, resources,connect, reports, and announcements. There are other tabs above these ones and they are, theGCU logo which takes to the GCU home page, your student profile, the class selection, search,help, and the log off. The number to tech support is 1877-428-8447, this is located at the bottomof the window with the privacy policy and the feedback links. These links are small and can behard to find if your cursor is already on a link.The forum is how you will communicate with other students and the instructor. There arethree forums the main forum, the individual forum, and the questions to the instructor forum. Inthe main forum you will find the discussion questions and posts from students and the instructor.This is also where you must reply to discussion questions, as well as posts from the instructor orstudent with a reply that continues the dialog to receive participation credit. The individual forumis used to contact the instructor privately, using this forum only you and the instructor will seethe contents. It is used for something you are uncomfortable with the whole class seeing. Finally,theQuestions to Instructor Forum is used as an informal way to ask a question or bring up atopic that will not count for participation credit. This is the place to put up a question aboutsomething you are not sure of or to ask for clarification on a topic.
