You may assume that the structures are weightless and that all pulleys and pins are frictionless. Gravity acts in the downward vertical direction. (a) A beam fixed to a rigid wall at A. A cord wraps around pulleys at C and D . A weight, W hangs from the cord. The cord is attached to a wall at the left. Draw the FBD you would need to determine the reactions at A .
