CONS-The courts have took in upon themselves to overrule the 1 st amendment to the constitution if what is said is proven to be a clear and present danger to the country, is brought about in a time of war, or is some form of slander towards another free citizen. The courts have allowed the 1 st amendment to grant protect citizens but have not gone to the point of allowing despicable individuals to partake in group hate speech. The 1 st amendment doesn’t advocate hate crimes or slander of groups of people and anything seen as a danger to a group of people is dealt with and not allowed....
