Exploring Positive Change in Sprott ’ s B-Comm Program
If you ’ re having trouble coming up with an idea, maybe think the assignment using the steps I ’ ve
identified below. This document is just meant to be a resource however, please do not include evidence
of these specific steps in your report. To help illustrate the process, I ’ ve included an example you can
use to follow along. The change you implement certainly doesn ’ t need to be this complex, this is just an
example.
1) Make a list of 4-5 things you really liked about your experience at Sprott & a list of 4-5 you didn ’ t like
very much. Out of the list of things you liked, is there anything that could have been
increased/expanded upon? What about the list of things you didn ’ t like; was there anything that could
have been improved/removed/replaced?
2) Pick one of the things you ’ ve identified that could be increased/expanded, or one of the things that
could be improved/replaced
Ex. If I were doing this project for the MBA program, or the PhD program, perhaps I would reflect on my
experience and say that I wish that I had had the opportunity to network with more students that are
from my direct industry at work
3) What is it about your favourite thing that really added to your experience at Sprott? What is it about
your least favourite thing that you felt was missing something? For whichever direction you choose to
go in, think of what you could do to make a specific change to improve that aspect of Sprott.
