Dear President, I was reading about Elizabeth Blackwell, and I believe that with the huge accomplishment she made that she deserves a holiday. When Elizabeth was younger, she saw how loved her male parent was in their community and how much he made a difference. So when she got older she got a line of work as a teacher to help children. When her father died she, her mother, and two older sisters had to pay the bank notes. Because teaching doesn't pay much she decided to find some other career. She wanted to be a doctor. Even though she recognizes the risk she be taken to pursue this dream. She applied to how many colleges and they all rejected her, but one did not. It was the Geneva College in New York. They did it every bit a joke they didn't expect to see her at the college, but, she attends college that year. They made her sit separately from the others and didn't want to teach her much of nothing. Butwith lots of studying and have some mentors guide her, she graduated college and obtained her
