Memphis Tigers are going to the National Championship TRT: 60 Ragan Mueller April 8, 2008 The Memphis Tigers are heading to the NCAA Championship. After a 78-63 win against the UCLA Bruins the Tigers will advance to the Finals in San Antonio, Texas. They face the Kansas University Jayhawks on Monday April 7 for the coveted national title. Tigers Coach John Calipari led his team to a record setting 38 wins this season, which is more than any team has won in one season. Every Memphis fan is hoping that Derrick Rose, Chris Douglas-Roberts, and Joey Dorsey will lead the Tigers to a historical
