The Life and Death of Stars: White Dwarfs, Supernovae, Neutron Stars, and Black HolesLow mass starThe stars can live for almost Million or Billion of years. The life of a star also has a death and life situationlike us. First how does star are born? Or how do they function?. The stars need fuel for them to form. The amount of matter that forms the star determines the amount of fuel and fate of the star. The starcan be determined through their masses. If a star has at least 13 Jupiter masses or one solar mass it canbe identified as a star. Any stars begin from a large cloud and dust a few light years across. The first starswere formed from clouds made of almost only hydrogen and helium. Gravity cases the gas cloud tocontract until fusion begins. In this fusion if the gravity cases and the gas cloud got too much hot overthe millions of years it will begin. Forming a yellow or red main sequence star is born. This star islightening or bright red because of the collision happening inside. The fusion reactions begins with twoprotons star is born fuse followed by beta decay yields a deuteron which is the combination of a proton
