QUESTION 1There are the challenges and opportunities managers have in applying OrganizationalBehavior (OB) concept in the workplace such as improving quality and productivity. Theextent to which customers or users believe the product or service meets or exceeds theirdemands and expectations is referred to as quality. A buyer buying an automobile, forexample, has certain expectations, one of which is that the vehicle's engine would startwhen it is turned on. If the engine fails to start, the customer's expectations will bedisappointed, and the car's quality will be viewed as bad. Performance is one of the mostimportant aspects of quality. Signal coverage, audio quality, and playback quality are allprimary rating features of a product. Next, managing workforce diversity. This refers toemploying personnel who are diverse in terms of gender, race, ethnicity, relationship, community, physically disabled people, and the elderly. The major objective for employing adiverse group of employees is to tap into their talents and potentialities, harness theirinnovativeness, and create a synergetic effect among the whole staff. Employees, overall, sought to keep their individual and cultural identities, values, and lifestyles despite working inthe same corporation with the same rules and regulations. Moreover, empowering power. The key concern is delegating more power and responsibility to lower-level employees, aswell as giving them more autonomy over their schedules, operations, processes, andmethods for resolving work-related issues. Encouraging employees to take part in work-related decisions will significantly increase their commitment to the job. Empowerment isdescribed as giving employees control over their work by instilling a sense of ownership inthem. Managers are going far further by giving employees complete authority over theirwork. It is because movement entails constant change, an increasing number of businessesare turning to self-managed teams, in which employees work mainly without supervision.
