Unformatted text preview: Renee Rallo HUM 2510/Spring 2008 Elizabeth Heath Gorilla And Baby For my critical analysis essay I chose to attend the Art Festival of Ft. Myers. It was held on Bay Street in downtown Ft Myers on February second and third. I went to the show on Saturday the second, and I attended the show for about an hour. The show was outstanding; there were so many different forms of art and so many different artists being represented. I chose to evaluate a piece of artwork called Gorilla and Baby by an artist named Gregg Murray. I chose this piece of art because I love nature and I’m an animal lover, and all of Gregg Murray’s pieces were drawings of animals, in the simplest form, which really caught my eye. Overall Gorilla and Baby uses strong lines, and clearly defined shapes, with a strong contrast to represent, childhood, and exploration .
