Jessica Guise Critique In the essay “Harvard, Do the Right Thing” by Tom Jehn, found in the Blair Reader, it is obvious that Harvard University is not doing what it should for its lowest paid employees. Harvard University pays its 1000 plus lowest paid employees as little as $6.50 an hour causing them to have to work tow or even three jobs just to afford food and shelter. Unlike the university’s home town of Cambridge, Harvard will not instate a living wage ordinance, which would make it so that these people could survive on just there one job at the university. The cost of instating a living wage ordinance would be equal to less than one-half
