Kimberly Fletcher Studio Music Spelling movement story Age Level 3rd Curriculum Area Spelling Objectives 1. The students will be able to correctly spell their spelling words. 2. The students will gain movement skills. 3. They will also experience exercise. 4. The students will fain creative writing skills 5. Students will learn to interact with other classmates. Adaptations For Special Needs If I have children with special needs, I will give them one on one help. For those with hearing problems, I will supply a mike or hearing device in the room. For those with limited vision, I will provide large print. If I have one in a wheel chair, we will make sure they can move around the classroom. Adaptation for different age levels For the younger kids, we will use words on their level. Foe the older kids we will use words on their level. This is a universal activity. To maybe make it a little harder, I might make the older ones do this silently. The kids would have to guess what word they are moving to.

Make sure they use a sentence where the class can jump around or do some type of movement. 3. Have each child read their story, and every time they say a movement word, the class will do it. You could have the kids do this same activity, but with Kimberly Fletcher Studio Music Spelling movement story science terms. You could use just about any area. 2. You could have the kids write more in detail about the movement. They could learn more about dance or even playing an instrument. Have them be more specific about the activity. 3.
